BMidas was founded in 1999 with the goal of taking the emerging world of online finances to the next level. Ziv Tur, founder and CEO, suggested that financial services on the Internet would be substantially profitable only once they could be customized to meet the unique needs of each individual consumer.

BMidas has created a new core technology that is conceptually different from those used by online financial institutions. By developing a core technology that is simply added to existing financial systems, BMidas has cleared the way for totally customized online finances.

During 2003 BMidas initiated a new infrastructure development project with the aid of the Israeli chief scientist office. The project budget was 500K$ and its products help BMidas sell its core technology solutions as a toolkit for customers all over the world in various markets.

During 2003 BMidas developed a supplementary solution to its client data aggregation – server data aggregation utilizing the thin client's data aggregation modules.

Recently BMidas has started utilizing its technology to other areas of interest beside e-finance, like retail-auction market, tax solutions and mobile solutions.
