Solution #1: Auction Aggregator

In recent years, internet shops are becoming more appealing to the common user. Low prices, increasing reputation and easy price comparison made the e-shops a unique phenomena in today's marketplace.
Moreover, auctions in e-shops and specialized auction sites combine low prices and an extraordinary buying experience.
On average, the prices in auction transactions are lower then in regular e-shops but the prices are known only to the auction-site management and those users who participated in the auctions. A customer who is looking for good prices has to participate in an auction and usually in more then one, in order to reach the "right" price he is willing to pay.

Today, price comparison services includes only regular transactions in e-shops and the auction prices remain unrevealed.

BMidas initiated a service, using its technology of data aggregation, which gathers the auction prices from several auction sites and enable the users to search those prices whether over the internet, as part of the price comparison, or using a SMS interface for users who wants to compare prices while visiting a physical shop.

A new internet site with an auction price search engine was launched on May 2004 in the following url: www.lof.co.il.

The site GUI and brand design was developed by Studio97 Design Group. Database, aggregator implementation and GUI implementation by Goash Soft.

The service is also available via call center, dial 054-7303330 or send a sms message LF [product model] to 8080 and receive the price in a SMS message.
